Jan walked into our warehouse a couple of weeks ago looking for a new coffee table to use in staging her house in Oakville. She is selling. She had us make her a nice maple slab table.
Maple is a wood that I really like for its light blonde color and interesting grain patterns. Some pieces have more contrast in the grain than others, but maple is usually a very good looking wood that has something interesting to offer in the grain. It’s a hard wood too, which makes it excellent for table tops.
Jan’s table was built using hairpin legs. Hairpins display the wood beautifully. It has a sleek, clean look that will fit very well into her decor.
Jan also picked up a Pot Belly Side Table for her house.
