Not long ago, we were asked to build a sign by Public Inc., a Toronto based charity fundraising company. This sign hangs in the Toronto office as an inspiration to all who enter ther office and are greeted by the words, “Why Shouldn’t Everyone profit By Doing Good?”
We decided to use mixed colors of barn wood in its natural state. Nothing was stained. The dimensions of the sign is 8′ x 9′ and was built in three panels which were assembled on site during installation.
The tin letters were supplied by another Toronto based company and were laid out and installed by Rebarn,
Here are pictures of the build from start to finish.

This is a custom built traditional “Z” braced antique hemlock barn door. This door is finished with urethane and is not stained. The natural color of the hemlock looks great in this door. The customer paired the door with our 6″ spoked black barn door hardware.

Colin, Justin and their entire film crew set upon Rebarn at our warehouse to film some background footage for the show. We talked about our reclaimed lumber, barn doors and our business. It was a fun time. I can’t wait for the show to air in March.

Colin & Justin – the Toronto interior design dynamic duo – chose Rebarn to build and install two barn doors in their Muskoka cottage. We were part of their new show, “Colin & Justin Cottage Pressure” and were on set during filming as we installed their two doors. It was a fun couple of days working on the set.
We built two barn doors for the show – traditional “Z” pattern farm-style doors – and stained them Iron Mountain, a charcoal grey color by Benjamin Moore. The doors looked fantastic. The hardware Colin & Justin chose was our 6″ spoked hardware, which fit into the rustic setting of the cottage.
The show, Colin & Justin’s Cottage Pressure will air in March of 2014.
